Inclusions
This warranty covers:
Workmanship Defects – This warranty covers all defects in Roofaroo’s workmanship related to the installation of roofing, siding, gutters, and other exterior materials. If an issue arises due to our installation methods, we will repair the affected area at no cost to you.
Warranty Period – This is a lifetime warranty, remaining in effect for the life of the manufacturer’s warranty of any installed roof, window, door or siding as long as the original customer owns the property.
Transferable Warranty – This warranty may be transferred once, within five years of the installation date, to a new homeowner, with written notice to Roofaroo and an applicable fee.
Exclusions
While our workmanship warranty covers the quality of our installation, it does not cover:
Acts of Nature – Damage resulting from natural events, including but not limited to hail, high winds, lightning, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, or other extreme weather conditions, is not covered under this warranty. Such events are typically covered by homeowners’ insurance.
Material Defects – Any issues resulting from manufacturing defects in the roofing materials are not covered by this warranty. Material defects are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and we are happy to assist you with any claims related to materials.
Improper Maintenance or Alterations – This warranty is void if the roof is altered, repaired, or maintained by any individual or company other than Roofaroo. This includes the installation of additional fixtures, such as satellite dishes, solar panels, or skylights, which could compromise the integrity of the roof.
Normal Wear and Tear – Roofing materials experience natural wear and tear over time due to sun exposure, thermal expansion, and minor granule loss, which are not covered by this warranty.
Animal or Pest Damage – Damage caused by animals, insects, birds, or other pests is not included in this warranty.
Improper Drainage or Debris Accumulation – Any damage resulting from inadequate drainage, gutters clogged with debris, or lack of maintenance is excluded from this warranty.
Industry Standard Highlights
Inspection Requirement – To ensure warranty validity, we recommend an inspection of your roof every three years, as recommended by industry standards. These inspections help maintain the integrity of your roof and identify issues before they become problems.
Maintenance Expectations – Industry standards dictate that all roofing systems should be kept free from debris and excess weight. Routine maintenance and gutter cleaning are the responsibility of the homeowner.
Warranty Claim Process – If you believe there is a workmanship issue covered by this warranty, please contact Roofaroo promptly. We will arrange for an inspection within 30 days and provide a resolution plan if covered.
Limitations of Liability
Roofaroo’s liability is limited exclusively to the repair of the specific workmanship defect. Roofaroo is not responsible for incidental, consequential, or secondary damages resulting from a workmanship defect, including damage to the home’s structure, interior, or contents.
